The main trip this weekend will be the Northern Crossing of the Tararuas. From Ohau to Mitre Flats and Waingawa road end (From near Levin to near Masterton on the other side of the range).  The plan is to have two keen groups crossing from each side and swapping cars.  There will also be an easier group doing something in the area as well. 

The keen groups will meet on the Friday night and will walk for a couple of hours, followed by full days on Saturday and Sunday, while the easy group will be able to take it easy with all day to get to where they want to go.  I will keep the options open for where the easy group is going until the meeting on Tuesday to get an idea of what people want to do for the easy trip.
